Ted Cruz in Clemson

Nothing says ‘election time’ like the relentless flow of party bosses touring the country to get out the vote. Nothing says ‘I’m running next’ like the appearance of someone who has absolutely no connection to the locals, and shows up anyway. Enter Ted Cruz, the lingering face of the once-mighty Tea Party, now handing out red meat to the remaining faithful. In two years, he could be a force, if the economy slides back into recession. Most likely not. For every new job, and penny drop in gasoline, he becomes a little less relevant.

Talk about South Carolina!
