Need a good reason to oppose off-shore drilling on the east coast? One just came ashore in Santa Barbara.
Need another? Santa Barbara has a rocky coast line. The shore of South Carolina has millions of acres of wetlands. If oil gets in there, you will never get it out. And the tourist will go somewhere else.
Your coast is a jewel, but a fragile one.
